Our IAQ Solutions

High-MERV Filtration

Upgrading from a basic 1" filter to a higher-MERV media filter captures significantly more dust, pollen, pet dander, and mold spores. We'll verify your system can handle the increased static pressure before recommending an upgrade.

UV Light Systems

UV-C lights installed near your evaporator coil kill mold, bacteria, and viruses before they circulate through your home. Particularly effective if you've had mold on your coil or persistent musty odors.

Whole-Home Humidifiers

Oklahoma winters are dry. A bypass or fan-powered humidifier installed on your furnace adds moisture to the entire house, reducing static electricity, dry skin, and wood shrinkage — without portables to refill.

Whole-Home Dehumidifiers

Oklahoma summers are humid. If your AC runs constantly but the house still feels clammy, a dedicated dehumidifier handles the moisture load your AC isn't sized to remove efficiently.

Air Purifiers & Ionizers

Whole-home electronic air cleaners and bipolar ionization units can reduce particulates, odors, and airborne pathogens. We'll give you an honest assessment of what the technology can and can't do.

Duct Cleaning Referrals

We don't push unnecessary duct cleanings. If your ductwork genuinely has debris, mold, or rodent contamination, we'll tell you and connect you with a reputable service.

FAQ

Indoor Air Quality Questions

Will an air purifier help with my allergies?

High-MERV filtration and whole-home electronic cleaners can meaningfully reduce pollen, dust mites, and pet dander in the air. UV systems help with mold and bacteria. The combination that helps most depends on your specific triggers.

Why does my house smell musty when the AC runs?

Usually mold on the evaporator coil or in the drain pan. A UV light system installed near the coil prevents this from coming back after the coil is cleaned. An oversized AC that short-cycles without running long enough to remove humidity is also a common culprit.

Do I need to clean my ducts?

Most homes don't need routine duct cleaning. It's warranted after major renovation work, if there's visible mold inside the ducts, or if there's evidence of rodents or insects. Dusty vents are usually a filter issue, not a duct issue.

What humidity level should I keep my home at?

40–50% relative humidity is ideal year-round. Above 60% encourages mold growth; below 30% causes dry skin and static. Oklahoma homes typically struggle with high humidity in summer and low in winter.
